First thing I noticed as I pulled the dress out of the ziploc style bag is that it’s not really what I’d call “knitted” as described. It’s a sweater style dress that isn’t too heavy, is well put together and feels nice and soft. It’s a really deep black too, looks really nice.I’m size 12 and tall so I ordered this in L instead of M like usual because the size chart showed 34.65 bust (I’m actually 37 but refused to do XL as it shows). I’m glad I did, as it fits perfectly and is nicely figure hugging. It’s actually really long so even if you’re taller you won’t need to worry about coming up short. The turtleneck is super long, even if you have a giraffe neck like me you’ll still need to fold it over. It’s very flattering, it cinches nicely at the waist and isn’t baggy anywhere, I’m really happy with how it looks on.My only gripe is the sleeves. Although overall they’re long, because of the shape and length of the cuff before the frill, it could do with being a little longer. It’s just ever so slightly awkward looking on my long arms and the sleeves look a little stretched when I correct it. It would also be nice if they were too long so that you get a better puff before the frill. They don’t really feel stretchy in the same way that the body does, while the neck is so stretchy you could cut holes in it and wear over your face too.It kept me really warm on an evening walk at 49f with no jacket or leggings, just some strappy heels, and because it’s a jersey type of fabric, didn’t let any little wind gusts through and make me chilly. I think the price is reasonable too.Recommended.
