i bought this dress as it looked beautiful in the picture ,and was described as a swing dress , so flared out towards the hem ……but as usual the model is wearing a couple of sizes larger than she needs to make it look as described …..as for the dress i received …..the fabric is very thin ,so you will need a slip under the skirt part if you dont want to show everything when you go out in the sunshine ….the color is true to the picture on the site ..the sleeves are very snug for a large size …bust is ok ,i bought the largest size as i have a 52 inch bust …the waist is gathered and has a small fabric belt threaded through as well so you can make it closer fitting ..but for us larger ladies , the gathered fabric on the waist as well makes it very bulky over the stomach and hips ….and it is not at all flared as the picture and description would have you believe . it is straight ……as i love the fabric so i will be remodeling mine ,taking away the gathers and putting in bust pleats , back darts , and fitting the skirt …

I chose the one with a waist drawstring and it’s very flattering, loose and cool without being too tent like! I am a size 14 and the L has plenty of room probably ok for a size larger than me too. One thing to note, it is very thin cotton so slightly see through. I bought it hoping to wear it to work but would need a slip underneath for work.
